Representatives of self-regulatory media organisations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, the Russian Federation and Ukraine have agreed to the creation of an informal regional network to further exchanges and cooperation.
A Swiss parliamentarian will visit both countries after receiving reports of imbalances in favour of new born boys.
Claudia Luciani said: “This joint endeavour in key areas of our expertise is a further demonstration of the excellent cooperation between the Council of Europe and the EU in promoting common European values across the whole continent.”
