Online youth campaign prepares for ‘No Hate Speech’ Spring launch

The campaign is against hate speech online in all its forms, including those that most affect young people, such as forms of cyber-bullying and cyber-hate. The campaign is based upon human rights education, youth participation and media literacy.

Judges to rule on ‘Roma-phobia’ Hungary court complaint

The case concerns the complaints of two young men, who are Roma, that they were misdiagnosed with a mental disability at the age of seven and placed in remedial schools where they were stigmatised as well as isolated from the wider population.

Russia report: “The number of racially-motivated crimes remains alarming”

A report on the Russian Federation from the Advisory Committee of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities expresses concern that “some minorities continue to face widespread discrimination in areas such as access to employment and housing as hostility against ‘non-Slavs’ is exhibited with increasing openness and sometimes fuelled by politicians.”
