Two days of celebrations of cities’ lead in diversity management will start in Lisbon tomorrow.

Video interview with Francesca Lionetti

The Intercultural Cities network hosts its 10th anniversary event in the Portuguese capital, to take stock of its achievements and to look forward to future progress.

The network brings together some 121 municipalities from five continents,  including Oslo (Norway) Limassol (Cyprus), Paris (France), Rijeka (Croatia), Ballarat (Australia), Montreal (Canada), Mexico City (Mexico), Hamamatsu (Japan), Tanger (Morocco) and Haifa (Israel).

The intercultural Cities project is based on the principle that cities can gain immensely through cultural diversity and should adopt policies and practices that facilitate intercultural interaction and inclusion.
