Conference: UN meeting to tackle causes of sexist hate speech

Later today, the Council of Europe will join representatives from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Belgium, Andorra and Liechtenstein for a United Nations ‘side-event’ on fighting sexist hate speech.

The New York event, part of the session of the Commission on the Status of Women, will discuss the causes and forms of sexist hate speech, its targets, impact and measures needed to curb it.
