New anti-corruption report on Spain

A new anti-corruption report on Spain, urges national authorities to do more to strengthen the accountability of public officials in the country.

The Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) report reveals that Spain has failed to comply with 11 recommendations aimed at preventing corruption.

“None of the eleven recommendations contained in the Fourth Round Evaluation Report has been implemented satisfactorily or dealt with in a satisfactory manner by Spain,” the report concludes.
