Video: Paris joins the Intercultural Cities Network

Hurrah! The City of Paris is now a member of the Intercultural Cities Programme, which provides support for the establishment of local strategies for managing diversity and integrating migrants and minorities.

In this video, Irena Guidikova, the ICC manager, expresses her delight at Paris’ decision. She says being part of the 95-strong city network, will allow the French capital to apply new and effective methods in the management of its diverse population, which have been tested by other municipal authorities.

“It’s an opportunity to learn from ideas and experiences that other cities have developed,” she adds. “Every city in the network learns and provides experience.”
