This podcast brings to you the flavour of the first day of the Edgeryders conference.
Over four days, inside and outside of the Council of Europe, some 200 members of the Edgeryders community will discuss social innovation, the role of new technology in the new economy and other issues of concern to young people with an array of European policy makers.
Organisers claim that Edgeryders is Europe’s biggest think-tank and that never before has the Council of Europe witnessed such an impressive mobilisation of young Europeans.
Podcast highlights include Gaia Marcus’ (photo) dissection of a conference floor spat over class and extremism and contributions from Anthony, a former United Kingdom civil servant and Irene, an Italian communications expert.
There is also analysis of the event and its impact from project manager Alberto Cottica and public intellectual Vinay Gupta.
