A new report on Greece, compiled by anti-torture monitors, is now available.
The Council of Europe’s Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) published the report following its 2011 ad hoc visit to assess the steps taken by the Greek authorities to implement long-standing recommendations made by the CPT, particularly those contained in the reports on the committee’s visits of September 2005, February 2007, September 2008 and September 2009.
