Further action is needed to prevent ethnic discrimination, in particular in relation to Roma, in the Slovak Republic and greater effort must be made to eliminate segregation of Roma in education.
These are the key recommendations in a new report monitoring the protection of minorities in the country.
The third Opinion on the Slovak Republic of the Council of Europe Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, is published today, together with the government’s comments.
